ぽつぽつ静かな雨の音に、つぼみたちもそっと耳をすましてるみたい。
今年の桜は、4月1日ごろかな〜って思ってたんですが、ウェザーニュースさんの開花予想日では4月4日みたいですね🌸
ちょっぴり延びたけど、その分、わくわくも長く楽しめそう♪
あたたかくして、春の足音を一緒に待ちましょ〜🌸
桜も飴も、いいタイミングで咲きますように🍬💕
さて、今回は、電車でこのまちに来られるあなたに、春の楽しみ方をちょこっとご紹介しちゃいますね🌸
🌸春と冬が出会う場所――桜と雪と、列車の旅
JR東北本線の大河原駅に降り立つと、空気がふわっとやわらかくて、どこか特別に感じるんです。
駅を出たその先には、桜たちがふわ〜っと広がっていて、さらに遠くには、まだ雪をまとった蔵王連峰が凛として立っています。
春と冬が寄り添うように並ぶ、ここだけの景色――それが、わたしたちの町の春なんですよ❄️🌸
🌸 おおがわら桜まつりがお待ちします
大河原駅のすぐそば、白石川公園では「おおがわら桜まつり」が、４月１日より開催されます！
川沿いには屋台や地元グルメ、特産品がずら〜り並んでいて、歩くだけでもワクワク♪
満開の桜とキラキラの川面、そしてその向こうに雄大な蔵王連峰が一望できる、春だけの大パノラマが広がります✨
自然の雄大さとお祭りのにぎわいが、一緒に楽しめちゃうんですよ♪
🚶♀️歩いて楽しむ、桜と蔵王の風景
のんびり散策がお好きなら、大河原駅から船岡駅までの白石川堤の桜道がおすすめ！
歩いて約1時間のルートには、見上げれば桜のトンネル、足元には花びらのじゅうたん。
そして、視線の先には真っ白な蔵王の稜線が、そっと見守ってくれているんです。
春の陽気と、雪の残る山風と、川のきらめきと――
この桜道は、自然の“調和”を感じながら歩ける、不思議で心地いい道なんです🌸❄️
🚋 特別な列車と、特別な速度で
そしてこの時期だけの、とっておきの列車旅もあるんです！
それが、**快速「レトロ花めぐり号」**🚋🌸
キハ110系のレトロなディーゼル車両が、仙台駅〜郡山駅間をゆったりと走り、大河原駅や船岡駅にも停車してくれるんですよ♪
車窓に映る一目千本桜と、遠くの雪山…まるで映画のワンシーンみたいなんです🎬❄️

🚉 全車指定席なので、事前予約をお忘れなく！
しかも、普通列車までもが、大河原駅～船岡駅間ではスピードをゆるめて運転してくれるんです🌸

The buds seem to be quietly listening to the sound of the rain.
I thought the cherry blossoms would bloom around April 1st this year, but Weather News predicts that they will bloom on April 4th 🌸
It’s been a little delayed, but it looks like we can enjoy the excitement for a long time ♪

Now, for those of you who are coming to this town by train, I’ll introduce you to some ways to enjoy spring 🌸
【🌸Where Spring and Winter Meet: Cherry Blossoms, Snow, and a Train Journey】
When you get off at Ogawara Station on the JR Tohoku Main Line, the air is soft and fluffy, and it feels somehow special.
As you leave the station, cherry blossoms in full bloom spread out before you, and even further in the distance, the Zao mountain range, still covered in snow, stands majestically.
A unique view of spring and winter standing side by side – that’s spring in our town❄️🌸
【🌸Welcome to the Ogawara Cherry Blossom Festival】
The Ogawara Sakura Festival will be held from April 1st at Shiroishigawa Park, located right next to Ogawara Station!
The riverside is lined with food stalls, local gourmet food, and specialty products, so even just walking around is exciting♪
A spring-only grand panorama unfolds before your eyes, with the cherry blossoms in full bloom, the sparkling river surface, and the majestic Zao mountain range beyond.✨
You can enjoy the grandeur of nature and the excitement of a festival all at the same time♪

If you like leisurely strolls, we recommend the Sakura Path along the banks of the Shiroishi River from Ogawara Station to Funaoka Station!
On this route, which takes about an hour to walk, you’ll see a tunnel of cherry blossoms when you look up, and a carpet of petals at your feet.
And as you gaze ahead, the pure white ridge of Mt. Zao watches over you.
With the spring weather, the snow-covered mountain breeze, and the sparkling river —
this Sakura Path is a mysterious and comfortable path where you can walk while feeling the “harmony” of nature🌸❄️
【🚋 Special trains, special speeds】
And there is a special train trip that is only available during this time of year!
That is the Rapid “Retro Flower Tour Train“🚋🌸
The retro diesel train of Kiha 110 series runs leisurely between Sendai Station and Koriyama Station, stopping at Funaoka Station and Ogawara Station♪
The Hitome Senbonzakura reflected in the train window and the snow-capped mountains in the distance… it’s like a scene from a movie🎬❄️
